"The 2014 The Sisters has a complex brambly flavor profile that is highlighted by a pleasing high-toned finish that lingers for up to a minute. In the glass the wine possesses a purple-red core and a deep garnet halo. Aromas of allspice, oolong tea, blackberry, and fresh leather have a delicate interplay as they emerge from the glass. The palate suggests notes of macerated blueberries, nutmeg, flint, burnt ends and lavender. This wine has a sleek, uniform mouthfeel, complimented by a set of chalky fine tannins that provide structure to the whole."

- Thomas Rivers Brown, Winemaker, Jones Family Vineyards, September 2017

The 2014 The Sisters Cabernet Sauvignon is a consumer-friendly, luscious, deep ruby/purple-colored wine with up-front blackcurrant and blueberry fruit, a hint of raspberry, medium to full body, low acidity and gentle tannin. It is ideal for drinking now and over the next 10-12 years. 89 pts

The 2014 The Sisters Cabernet Sauvignon is rich, deep and pliant, all of which make it a good choice for drinking now and over the next few years. A host of dark cherry, smoke, cedar and tobacco meld into the super-expressive finish. This is an especially fruit-driven style for Calistoga, but it works nicely. 89 points
