Notes -
"The 2000
Cabernet is a big, fully ripe, dark wine made from the
Jones Estate Vineyards in the eastern Napa Valley hills
between Saint Helena and Calistoga. The nose has such
purity of fruit that is difficult to attain. Deep cassis,
black cherry and ripe berry dominate the aromas which
lead to a similar flavor profile. The wine is very round
and lush in the mouth with just slightly dusty tannins.
Even though very young at this tasting, the wine is
so approachable, drinkable and enjoyable right now.
It has silky softness in the mouth and yet has powerful
flavors at the same time. We hope you enjoy it as much
as we did making it."

“This winery continues to fashion brilliant Cabernets,
as evidenced by their successful, strong, powerful 2000
Cabernet Sauvignon. It boasts great fruit along with
loads of black creme de cassis notes intermixed with
melted licorice, all offered in a medium to full-bodied,
supple-textured style. ”
