"A big wine from a high extraction vintage. The aromas are incredibly open and inviting. Super concentrated black cherry and berry fruit with cedar and sage notes. Volcanic soil shows through with big broad intense spiciness and warmth. Silky in the mouth with light dusty tannins throughout. Oak is used here as an accent lending some toasty, vanilla flavors as well. A rich and complex wine from a blockbuster vintage. "
